What I did was google “Netflix on iPhone 4″
This is what I found.
“
Requirements:
- Jailbroken iPhone 4 (iPhone 4 [iOS 4] Jailbreak)
- Open SSH
- Netflix for iPad via App Store [Free] + Netflix subscription
- Perfect Browser [$0.99] via App Store
Instructions:
- Open iTunes
- Download Netflix for iPad
- Right click the Netflix for iPad app and select “Show in Finder” [Mac] or “Show in Windows Explorer” [Windows]
- Rename the file extension from Netflix 1.0.4.ipa to Netflix 1.0.4.zip
- Extract Netflix 1.0.4.zip somewhere on your Mac or PC
- Navigate to the “Payload” folder within the zip you have just extracted and find the Netflix.app folder.
- Copy the Netflix.app to your iPhone 4 using your SSH client of choice.
- Navigate (using SSH) to /private/var/stash/Applications
- Change permissions on the Netflix.app to 755. You can change the permission in terminal using the following command “chmod -R 755 Netflix.app”. This step may vary slightly depending on your SSH client of choice and the way in which it allows you to change permissions. In Cyberduck (Mac), for example, you can simply click “Go-Open in Terminal App”.
“Note: If you use the Terminal app on the iPhone to change permissions, make sure to run “su root” or else you will get this error: “Terminal problem. (operation not permitted)”
10. Respring (restart) your iPhone 4.
11. Now all you have to do is download the Perfect Browser app from the App Store and select “Safari iPad” viewing mode as shown in the image below. You can do this by selecting the wrench/tool icon, clicking “desktop rendering”, and choosing “Safari iPad”.”
I messed up by not chmoddding all the contents of netflix.app. But I’m all set now!! Movies at work, on the can, on the road! Or all of the above for the skilled!!! ( I don’t have them skillz)
